PracticeMax is seeking an individual with technical know-how and excellent customer service skills for our Client Onboarding Team as the Technical Support Specialist. The ideal candidate has the ability to manage many requests at once, while providing superior customer service to both internal and external PracticeMax customers. The Technical Support Specialist should have a sense of urgency, and be able to work within a project timeline with responsibility for completing and tracking tasks within the project scope, as well as tracking time worked on said tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work well with others as a team player.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Onboarding kick-off calls
  • Create macros for loading pharmacy files, payer files, and providers files to EHR/PM platforms
  • Build and test user IDs for internal/external staff within EHR/PM platforms
  • Build facility and provider files within EHR/PM platforms
  • Build and test fee schedules within EHR/PM platforms
  • Create and test macros for reporting of claim reconciliation and claim status, statements, aging reports, and financial analysis reports
  • Build and upload client letters within the EHR/PM platform
  • Take incoming technical support calls from internal and external customers
  • Monitor and respond to support tickets submitted through the support website for onboarding new clients/post go live support
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for the Onboarding process via MaxWiki
  • Escalate issues to Team Management as appropriate
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications

  • Self-motivation to accept and complete tasks within the project time scope
  • Usage of Teamwork for the completion of project tasks, and time tracking of said tasks
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve undocumented issues, and then create new documentation in MaxWiki
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (required)

  • 1+ years relevant work experience
  • Macro development (preferred)
  • A+, Network+ or other relevant certifications (preferred)
