POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible to manage the enrollments and changes to all benefits plans, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.  This detail oriented person will be responsible for auditing and correcting all plans, if needed, as well as participating in other HR generalist duties. 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage all FMLA, medical, personal and ADA leaves including FMLA, including, but not limited to distributing paperwork, timely follow up and system tracking.
  • Enroll 401k participants timely.
  • Enroll and/or make electronic changes as necessary with all benefits.
  • Run reports and audit benefit invoices for accuracy.
  • Resolve benefit related/employee challenges in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee annual open enrollment process for all employees.
  • Assist employees with HR related inquiries via email, phone, and in person.
  • Manage payroll log for adjustments and work with accounting on employee pay issues.
  • Run reports in ADP or other systems as needed for various purposes.
  • Cover for HR/Receptionist position as needed, which is the first interaction when entering company.
  • Positive, team player being supportive of department and company goals and policies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills.
  • Experience with ADP or other comparable HRIS system preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Organized, able to set priorities and meet deadlines.


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college preferred.
  • 3+ years working in HR/Benefits related position preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Multi-state HR experience preferred.
  • International HR experience a plus.
