PracticeMax is looking for an enthusiastic medical Credentialing Specialist to complete enrollment for providers and obtain optimum reimbursement for services provided. Do you have what it takes?

What your day would look like:

  • Skillfully handling enrollments for practices and hospital groups in various states.
  • Initiating the credentialing and re-credentialing process for all medical providers.
  • Communicating with medical practices when assistance is needed.
  • Maintaining accurate and current provider records electronically and on paper.
  • Providing support as needed for new practice set up.
  • Being a go-to person for the billing department when questions arise.
  • Assisting with administrative and research tasks for special projects as needed.

You're great at:

  • Microsoft Word and Excel, and general computer usage.
  • Organizing like a pro.
  • Paying attention to detail.
  • Written and verbal communication.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and following HIPAA guidelines.
  • Managing your time productively.
  • Being a self-starter and working effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Being customer-oriented, with both internal and external customers.

Brownie points if:

  • You have experience with Adobe Acrobat.
  • You have experience with contract management.
  • You have experience in credentialing and/or provider enrollment.
  • You have some college credits or a degree.

You have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 year's administrative experience in a healthcare related field.
  • High motivation and a desire to begin a career in the growing healthcare industry.
  • A minimum of 2 year's credentialing and/or provider enrollment experience
